Robert Hicks is a sophomore accounting major at YCP and is a brother of Phi Kappa Psi.

On campus RJ is a Resident Assistant (RA) in Manor South where he works with a large staff of other Greek Life members, including two other fraternity men and two sorority women. Resident Assistants serve as positive role models to the students they live with in their hall. RAs also help new students adjust to campus life and help create a sense of community among their residents. When asked how RJ felt about working with other members of Greek Life, RJ said that he enjoys working with them. He said that having he common bond of being in Greek Life made it easy to become friends with many of his fellow Resident Assistants.

RJ went through fraternity recruitment last spring, during his first year on campus. He says, “being a new member in Greek life at YCP has changed my life in a great way. I have met so many new people and gained so many new friends.” The friendships that he has made through Greek Life and being involved on campus will last well beyond his time at York College of PA.
